Well hopefully some of you enjoyed your snow day.

As it sits, we are looking at 4 days left until the deadline for this mid-term project.  Before you start, I’d like you to follow THIS LINK, to another survey.  Let’s see where you are in comparison to your classmates.  Also, this might help as you start to think about your goals for the upcoming class periods.

What do you see about your artwork that STANDS OUT to you as needing a bit of work? Is there anything that you are immediately “bothered” by? Is there anything that stands out as “GREAT?”  What have you learned about the work that you are creating? Is there anything you feel that has really advanced and developed? Something that you have really GROWN from?

We coming up on the last few studio days for this project.  I’d like to take a little time and talk with you guys about how you feel you’ve made progress so far, and what your goals are moving forward.  Follow THIS LINK, to another quick survey at the beginning of the hour.  You’ll have some time to fill it out, but I’d like to use some class time to talk with you guys about where we are moving forward, and how you can set up some easy goals to achieve by the deadline next week.

So we have spent the last few days hashing out ideas, and hopefully you’ve left each day with a better understanding of where your work is headed.

I’ve had some concerns throughout the past week, that the project is possibly being approached as an afterthought for some of you.  I get the feeling that a few people in class thought that this was going to be an easy task, and from the lack of class discussion as well as the poor class observation/participation, those feelings are starting to become realities to me.

Before class gets started today, I’d like you to FOLLOW THIS LINK, to a quick survey. You’ll have some time to fill it out, but I’d like to use some class time to talk with you guys about where we are moving forward, and how you can set up some easy goals to achieve by the deadline next week.
