Goals for the Day: Thurs. March 5

Ceramics 2: Royal Flush Challenge

  1. CREATE a plan for which you will follow specific steps in building a work of art, by completing an ACTION PLAN.
  2. Be able to orally defend and explain their choices by responding to PROJECT REQUIREMENTS.

Be sure to check the breakdown of tomorrow’s events so that you know EXACTLY what you should be responsible for.

Intro to Art: Sketchbook Catch-Up

  1. DEMONSTRATE your understanding for the procedures of the weekly sketchbook by completing a themed/timed sketch.
  2. SUMMARIZE your opinions of their themed sketch by writing a 4-step critique

For the next few days that we are together, I thought that it might be a nice break from the day-to-day project grind, to dedicate to our card marking sketchbook (due Friday).  Below you will find a little schedule of our themes:

WK 1: I am GROOT!

WK 2: Garfield

WK 3: Back to the Future

WK 4: Dumb and Dumber

WK 5: Tick-Tock the Croc

*pay attention to what the theme is for each week.  Do NOT just assume that you are copying a picture from the internet for each week.

Painting 2: Non-Objective Art Challenge

  1. IDENTIFY the specific steps needed to create a NON-OBJECTIVE painting, by using practiced techniques to communicate an emotion/idea.
  2. Be able to orally defend and explain your choices by responding to PROJECT REQUIREMENTS.

Be sure to use the “Help Folder” for any additional information that you might need.
