Ceramics 2: Critique Week “Starting Your Critique”

Below you will find corresponding links to your hour’s CRITIQUE portion of this project.  Access to these forms will be open for the next 3 days, but be turned off on Friday.  Be sure to use the “Critique Cheat Sheet” to respond to the questions posed in the form.  Each of you will be responsible for clearly representing 2 of the talking points (your choice) listed below each part of the critique process [Describe, Analysis, Interpretation, Judgement]

Intro to Art: Continued work with Extreme Contrast

  1. IDENTIFY characteristics of CONTRAST by participating in a classroom exercise involving basic art making skills.
  2. Be able to orally defend and explain their choices by responding to PROJECT REQUIREMENTS.

We will be working through the exercise that we started yesterday.  The goal over the next few days is to complete the POSITIVE space in your design.  Be sure to dedicate a little time in filling out the Daily Goal form which is located on-line over in the toolbar.

  1. APPLY  your ability to create a series of quick sketches from a model or pose by emphasizing the TORSO in 30 second BEAN drawings
