Intro to Art: Pen & Ink Challenge (Frame Demo)

Reflection / Evaluation: What is it you need to focus on in the PROCESS to DEVELOP a solid PEN & INK DRAWING that is about the TECHNIQUES and YOUR ABILITIES?

Painting 1: 3 Apples Challenge

  1. Experiment, plan, and make multiple works of art and design that explore a personally meaningful theme, idea, or concept.
  2. Respond to the CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS by identifying areas that you struggle with before you start a painting.
  • Take your artwork out – DON’T look at it. Step back. WRITE OUT THE FIRST THINGS THAT COME TO MIND. Use the first 10 minutes to do a small bit of SELF REFLECTION and PEER REFLECTION. Talk – Write – Reflect – 

Take a look at the above photograph.  What are some of the first things that you see when you look at this image.  You will be using this image, and its subject matter to create your own UNIQUE take on the 3 Apple Challenge.
