Intro to Art: Creating Line Shapes (Colored Pencil Demo)

  • Engage in making a work of art or design without having a preconceived plan by practicing LINE SHAPES within a guided notes
  • Respond to the PROJECT REQUIREMENTS, by prioritizing their daily tasks through filling out a DAILY GOAL FORM.

Graphic Com: Tourism Postcard Challenge

  • Produce a comprehensive and informative tourist postcard design using customizable and downloaded fonts and brushes to deliver a visual design through Adobe Photoshop.
  • Respond to the PROJECT REQUIREMENTS, by prioritizing their daily tasks through filling out a DAILY GOAL FORM.

We will be reviewing the project requirements for our next project challenge in today’s class.  Be sure to follow your course’s Edmodo link for all files that will be used for this project.


Drawing: Identify Composition Styles in Real Life

  • Engage in a guided discussion/presentation about COMPOSITION STYLES  by practicing THUMBNAIL drawings within guided notes.
  • Respond to the presentation by prioritizing their daily tasks through filling out a DAILY GOAL FORM.

Today we will put to use the last few days of “note taking” and try to find various composition styles in a series of still-lifes throughout the room.  Each station will have a series of composition styles that you will be asked to identify by taking a photo with your personal device.  We will take a look at your images throughout the class to get an idea on how each student put together their layouts.
